NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) - Die Wall Street hat ihre jüngste Erholung am Dienstag vorerst unterbrochen. Die wichtigsten Aktienindizes waren im späten Handel leicht ins Minus gerutscht, nachdem zuvor die Ölpreise wieder auf Talfahrt gegangen waren. Diese Kehrwende habe die Anleger etwas nervös gemacht, sagte Aktienstratege Matt Maley von Miller Tabak & Co. Die fallenden Ölpreise erinnerten die Anleger Börsianern zufolge wieder an die zuletzt verdrängten Konjunktursorgen. Angesichts der zuletzt starken Schwankungen am Aktienmarkt brauchte es laut Maley zudem nicht viel, dass die Bullen wieder ihre Hörner einzögen.

With almost 1 million infections worldwide, the Corona virus has turned into a global pandemic. To avoid it from doing more damage, many governments across the globe have urged their citizens to stay at home. People complied: At full speed, society adapted to a new lifestyle
by home-schooling their children, working out through online classes and building themselves in the best possible home office setting they could find. But after the first neces- sary steps, more fundamental ques- tions came up. One that is especially pressing is that of security. Many individuals are now working from home, possibly handling sensitive data. Families are accessing their home network much more frequently and individuals are almost constantly online with their smartphones. But how can it be ensured that all this is done in a secure IT environment?
Peter Arnoth has the answers: “Whatever we do, our focus is on securing the digital lives of end cus- tomers,” says Arnoth, who’s the CEO of cyan Digital Security, a company that describes itself as an “Enabler of Seamless Security”. Founded in 2006, cyan has almost 20 years of ex- perience when it comes to IT security. The company sees itself as an ideal partner for all households, busines- ses or personal users who feel they might need to increase their digital security.

three main pillars: Personal Internet Security, Business Protection and Family/Home Protection. cyan offers its partners solutions for custom-
ers that wish to protect their home network, be it a fixed line or a mobile router. Additionally, all connected devices are being secured – as well as those of people that might live in one’s household, including children. “Our advantage is that our protection works on a network-level rather than an endpoint-level“, says Markus Cserna, cofounder and CTO of cyan Digital Security. What he promises is simply an additional layer of security.
But cyan also offers Seamless Security not just for households or businesses, but also for individuals.
The key here is to protect the per- sonal data that’s transmitted through smartphones. Michael Sieghart, cyan’s CFO says that “hardly any security solutions exist that are able to provide a combination of net- work-based and application-based solutions. The same is true for user protection when it comes to smart- phones. And that’s in spite of the fact that people organize their whole lives on their phones.”
cyan acts as a white-label provider – offering their services B2B, customizable and easy to integrate in existing infrastructures. Customers include telecom giants such as Or- ange in France or Magenta in Austria, as well as insurers like AON. Arnoth: “We believe that our customers are the best resellers. When Orange dis- tributes our solution under its brand, the product looks more trustworthy than if we acted as a third-party ven- dor. It also makes the solutions more approachable for customers because of their existing relationships.“
To compete with large providers such as McAfee or Norton, cyan has perfected its processes. With more than 25 methods of analysis, the security provider is thorough when
it comes to identifying potential threats like phishing or malware. One of them, the “Sandboxing method”, has even been patented. Arnoth: “We receive anonymized data streams and our data centers respond in real time. By combining these streams with AI technology, we can offer a protection rate in the high 99 %. 100 % is impos- sible, no matter what advertisements tell you. We succeed with the help of Big Data and AI – that’s our secret. Especially in difficult times like
the one we’re facing globally at the moment, this helps us to maintain the high quality of our solutions for the protection of individuals, families and companies and to keep the threat of cyber criminals low.”
IT security solutions, Big Data and AI technology and renowned customers: The business model seems to be working. This success was not clear, however, when cyan first started operating, says Cserna. “We found-
ed cyan as a group of friends and started by offering security solutions for corporate networks.” But the IT experts soon started picking up speed and had some early successes in the B2B market, with customers such as the Austrian Foreign Ministry. Cserna: “When Peter Arnoth joined the com- pany with the vision of adapting our security solutions for mobile network operators, everything went very fast.”
Today, the tech company pro- vides a broad field of digital security services following cyan’s claim: The Enabler for Seamless Security. This claim holds true as cyan operates
on a global scale while being fully independent, provides technical excellence, guarantees easy roll-outs as well as customizable, flexible solu- tions. In its seven locations world- wide, the Europe-based company
has 145 employees and most recently generated an annual revenue of €
35 million. The growth trajectory is continuing, as the need for security – especially at home during a lockdown – will continue to increase in the near future.
While the human factor can
be somewhat controlled, the Inter- net of Things (IoT) makes security measures much more complex: “For every smartphone there’s a user”, says Cserna. We can warn him before he clicks on a malicious link. But intelligent light bulbs and smart fridg- es communicate via central access points. No human sees what they’re doing. Thus, we try to analyze the data streams of these central access points and notify our customers if we detect suspicious activity.”

Um 62 Prozent verbessert sich 2019 der Gesamtertrag bei cyan auf 32,4 Millionen Euro. Das EBITDA erhöht sich von 3,4 Millionen Euro auf 11,9 Millionen Euro. Entsprechend legt die Marge von 17 Prozent auf 37 Prozent zu. Beim Cashbestand geht es von 1,9 Millionen Euro auf 8,5 Millionen Euro nach oben.
Dazu Finanzvorstand Michael Sieghart: „Das abgelaufene Geschäftsjahr war für die Weiterentwicklung unseres Unternehmens von großer Bedeutung. I-New wurde vollständig integriert, weitere Ressourcen wurden insbesondere im Vertrieb und der IT-Entwicklung aufgebaut und Orange Frankreich konnte erfolgreich installiert werden.“ Spätestens ab dem zweiten Halbjahr 2020 soll es aus dem Orange-Vertrag einen Ergebnisbeitrag geben.
Corona kann für cyan nach eigenen Angaben Chancen bieten. Der Datenverkehr steigt an, teils läuft er über ungesicherte Netzwerke. Hier bietet cyan entsprechende Sicherheitslösungen an. Doch die Pandemie hat für cyan auch Nachteile, wie CEO Peter Arnoth deutlich macht: „Covid-19 bremst, kann uns aber nicht aufhalten. Als digitales IT-Unternehmen arbeiten unsere Mitarbeiter im Home-Office unermüdlich an weiteren Abschlüssen und Installationen unserer Lösungen. Dennoch erwarten wir krisenbedingt auf Seiten unserer Kunden die eine oder andere Projektverzögerung.“ Allerdings ist cyan nach einer Kapitalerhöhung im vergangenen Jahr schuldenfrei.
Arnoth blickt derzeit optimistisch auf 2020: „Ich bin überzeugt, dass wir unsere Marktposition in dieser Krise noch verbessern können. So ist die Gefahr von Cyberattacken im Home-Office sprunghaft angestiegen und neueste Kundendaten beweisen, dass auch die Nachfrage nach unseren Produkten im Zuge der Covid-19 Krise ein starkes Wachstum aufweist.“

Ich bin etwa 10% vorne mit dem Trade und werde vermutlich in den nächsten 60 Minuten das Ding einsacken. Das Exposure dieses Trades umfasst etwa 95.000 $. Da kann man auch mal die Chips vom Tisch nehmen.

Letzte Woche leider einen Tag zu stark gehedged. Und manchmal gehen die Buchgewinne wieder schneller flöten, als mir lieb ist. Bärenmarkt-Vola ;)
Hier mal nur die Aktienbestände gereiht nach Performance:
wenn man die nicht handelbaren Bezugsrechte für NEL weglässt, habe ich 4 Posis mit mit 0 bis +2% (AIR, NOW, UUU und CYR) ab Hornbach mit +9,5% machts schön langsam Spaß. Bei einigen älteren hat sich durch drumherum Traden der EK leider etwas verschlechtert. Aber AMD hab ich noch immer +180%; NEL +74%; CD Projekt (super Zahlen gestern!) mit +42%; Drägerwerk +34% usw....
Aber im Peak war ich trotzdem -24/-25% im Minus; leider auch in der Woche ab 23.3. bis 27.3. etwas zu vorsichtig, wie auch eben später einzelne Tage mit (zu) starken) Hedges; beim Öl lief es super.
